Hand painted and printed cotton and silk organza, fake fur, photo transfers. Hand stitched and quilted.

The Mourning Quilt for the Lost and Disappearing Mammals of Canada uses faux fur as the batting. After the fabric was painted, the silk organza was treated with pigment to resemble blood stains.
