From the series Myths and Legends, which explores textile stories using a textile mosaic technique. This piece tells the story of Medusa and Perseus. Medusa had snakes for hair and one look from her terrifying eyes could kill a person. The fabric is hand dyed using different shibori techniques. The snake skin is real. Shed and discovered on Pender Island. 16" x 24".
